Brain Cancer Awareness is a cause that is very dear to us. Our daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016. That same year, Brandon Robinson also discovered he had a brain tumor. Brandon and his wife Stephanie have worked since then to promote awareness and to provide support for those impacted by brain tumors/brain cancer in our region through their nonprofit organization, Grey Matters Whitesburg, Inc.
When our daughter was diagnosed, the community rallied to support her which made getting through an extremely difficult time a little easier. She is doing well overall now, although she does still deal with long-term side effects and still has regular scans to ensure that her tumor is still inactive.
We want to do our part to give back and to support others who are battling this disease so 100% of the profit from the sale of our Grey Matters candles will be donated to Grey Matters Whitesburg, Inc. to support the work that they do.
